Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) (Individual Member)

The SOCIETY OF INDUSTRIAL AND OFFICE REALTORS® (SIOR) is the leading professional commercial and industrial real estate association. SIOR has certified more than 2,800 of its members with the prestigious SIOR designation, a professional symbol of the highest level of knowledge, production, and ethics in the real estate industry. Real estate professionals who have earned the SIOR designation are recognized by corporate real estate executives, commercial real estate brokers, agents, lenders, and other real estate professionals as the most capable and experienced brokerage practitioners in any market, SIOR represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and successful commercial real estate brokerage specialists. In Kentucky, only 15 individuals have been able to obtain the SIOR designation and all but 1, Alex Nottmeier of Neal Turner Realty, are located in the larger markets of Louisville and Lexington.

Alex Nottmeier is 1 of only 15 SIOR’s in the state of Kentucky and is the only SIOR positioned outside of Lexington and Louisville markets. Nottmeier has defied the odds of being able to generate the sales volume needed to obtain the SIOR designation outside of Kentucky’s two largest metropolitan markets (Lexington and Louisville).

Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) (Individual Member)

CCIM is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. A CCIM is an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor and user. CCIM member is among an elite corps 7,500 professionals across North America who hold the CCIM designation. Only six percent of all commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but also why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.

International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC)

Founded in 1957 ICSC is the global trade association of the shopping center industry. Its 39,000 members in the U.S., Canada and more than 70 other countries include shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors, lenders, retailers and other professionals as well as academic representatives and public officials. As the global industry trade association ICSC links with more than 20 national and regional shopping center councils throughout the world.
